Terry Davis, owner of Sierra Signs in Mesa is the newest member of the Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club and gave her classification talk today, sharing her experiences throughout the years as she has worked to established a reputable sign and banner business in Mesa. Terry has designed and painted signs for several baseball stadiums in the Valley, and has made a number of signs and banners for members of the Mesa Sunrise Rotary club. She designed two new banners for our first annual bike run fundraiser. Westwood High School Student Advisor Anita Williams brought two students to our club today, the November Student of the Month Richard Frische, and the December Student of the Month Mykella Jones, who are both exemplary high school students and are involved in a number of academic and community service programs and projects.

Richard Frische is a Senior at Westood High School who is currently completing the International Baccalaureate Program, the most rigorous program requiring advanced coursework in all subjects and extended research projects and service hours. He holds a 4.487 weighted GPA and is ranked 11th in the Senior Class. He is Vice-President of the Westwood High School Rotary Interact, the District Governor for the Rotary Interact District 5510.

Mykella Jones is a Senior at Westwood High School who is also completing the International Baccaulaureat Program, has a weighted GPA of 4.659 and is ranked #5 in the Senior Class. Extracuriccular activities include two years on the Badminton Team, three years with the Westwood Rotary Interact Club and three years as a member of the National Honors Society. Mykella was born completely deaf and has a coclear implant. She plans to study biomedical engineering.
