Mary Cameli presents Westwood Student of the Month Kaylea

Kaylea is an exceptional young lady.  When asked to describe Kaylea, the word selfless and serving comes to mind.  Often times, service is done on a committee or as part of a club organization, but in Kaylea’s case, her service has been to her own family and friends.  Kaylea is a wonderful example to her younger siblings as well as a great friend to many of our Westwood students.   She regularly talks of respect and gratitude for the role her mom has played in her life.  Kaylea exhibits maturity beyond her years in every situation she encounters and is an admirable role model for those around her.  She is open and caring, grateful and kind.  Kaylea is a hardworking, strong young woman with great values and a bright future ahead of her.

Kaylea was raised around rodeos and wants to be in the medical field but did not necessarily want to be stuck in an office all day.

Not only is Kaylea a truly extraordinary person, but, she maintains a 3.513 weighted GPA and ranks in the top 5% of her graduating class and still finds time to work.  She is also involved in Westwood’s sports medicine program where she is a student trainer for athletes on the baseball, softball, and track teams.  She will start as a freshman at Grand Canyon University in the fall.

As you can see Kaylea is a perfect representation of a Westwood Warrior as well as a MESA Sunrise Rotary Student of the month.  CONGRATULATIONS!
