Neal Yukolis speaks to Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club

Past Club President Neal Yukolis gave a classification talk and shared experiences from his professional life as a jewelry store owner, real estate and investment manager, and long- time member of the Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club.

September Student of the Month Dylan Traywick from Westwood High School talked about his experiences in high school leadership and club activities, as well as participation on the Westwood High School Honour Guard drill team. Dylan holds a 3.75 GPA at Westwood High School and strives for academic excellence. Dylan's favorite inspirational quote is from  University of Oregon track star Steve Prefontaine: "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."  Tiffany Jones gives Dylan his Student of the Month plaque, which will be given a place of honor at Westwood High School. Each year one of the students will be chosen Student of the Year, and will receive a $500 college scholarship.

Ann Thomas from Barbados has been visiting Arizona as a guest of Soo Steven-Clarke and attended Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club, thanking the club for their generous support with a Rotary matching grant to fund a new fire safety program with the Barbados Fire Department. Soo Stevens-Clarke and Tiffany Jones will be visiting Barbados to facilitate the Rotary matching grant and will report to the club after their return.
