Funeral Services for Longtime Mesa Rotarian Robert Brinton

A long time member and Past President of the Mesa Rotary Club, Robert Brinton, passed away recently at the age of 60. He was for many years the President and CEO of the Mesa Convention and Visitors Bureau, and was awarded the "Man of the Year," by the Arizona Alliance in 2008. He was the founding President of the Mesa Parks and Arts, a past member of the Mesa Museum and Cultural Advisory Board, was past President of the Mesa Sister Cities Association, President of the Mesa Hohokams, and was the past Chairman of the Mesa Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. He was the founding member and past President of the Cactus League Baseball Association, past President of the Mesa Jaycees, was a member of the Superbowl XXX Cities Committee, and a member of the Arizona Alliance. He is survived by his wife and 8 children and numerous grandchildren. Our condolences to the Brinton family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
