Elizabeth Engler Receives Westwood High Mesa Sunrise Rotary Student of the Year Award.
 

Student of the Year Westwood High - Elizabeth Engler, Kristen Counselor 1st year, Tim & Susan- Parents. Elizabeth going to Ohio for Athletic Training. Elizabeth was choosing between Grand Canyon University and others but decided on May 1st to attend school in Ohio.

 

Elizabeth is an outstanding young lady. She currently holds a weighted GPA of 3.625.   Elizabeth has taken on the challenge of being part of Westwood's International Baccalaureate program. This program is designed for highly-motivated high school students in their junior and senior years. The program has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment, giving IB diploma holders access to the world's leading universities. On top of her academic success, Elizabeth has volunteered close to 1000 hours serving the community. WOW! Elizabeth is also an active member of interact, Mayor's youth committee, Link Crew, and is Vice-President of the New Global Citizens Club. On top of her academic success and club involvement Elizabeth finds time to be an athletic trainer for both the football and basketball teams. As you can see Elizabeth is a perfect representation of a Westwood Warrior as well as a MESA Sunrise Rotary Student of the month for January 2013. She is a great choice for our student of the year.
